You’ve Made This My Best Week Ever

You’ve made this week my best week ever, and I want to thank you for it.

Most of my days and weeks are good so I don’t mean this about my life, but I mean it about waylonbailey.com.

More people read my blog this week than any other. Your reading and your comments–both on the blog and privately–makes the time and effort worthwhile.

I normally don’t write for a Sunday, but I felt compelled to thank you for taking the time to read the blog.

As most of you know (you are my loyal readers), I normally write 300-500 words. Brevity fits me, but it also fits most of you. We all have busy lives and we need to read, reflect, and move on to the other areas that are calling for our time.

So again, thanks for reading.

If you missed one of this week’s posts, it’s easy to get caught up or share this with someone who might be helped by this week’s topics. The easiest way to read something you may have missed is simply to go to www.waylonbailey.com and start reading. The most recent blogs are at the top of the page. From there you can read back for the previous six days. You can also use the search function to find most anything you would like to read again. I use the search function often and find it very effective.

As always, I also appreciate your sharing this with others and encouraging them to subscribe as well. Once I’ve written, it doesn’t take any extra effort on my part for someone else to read :). Thanks for sharing.

Well, that’s my 300 words for this Sunday. I hope you will worship God with all your heart today and that you will faithfully serve Him through your church.

If someone sent this to you and you would like to receive a free subscription, go to waylonbailey.com and sign up. You’ll receive my daily look at life and Scripture in your inbox each morning.

  1. Thank you for writing this blog every morning. I look forward to reading it and appreciate the time and effort you put into writing it. Just another example of the many ways you are ministering to our church, community, and world. I thank God every day for sending you to us.

  2. Thank you Waylon. I particularly appreciate it when you weigh in on important secular events and concerns. Your words are sometimes the calm in the midst of a storm. Your blogs remind me how I should respond to these concerns as a Christian – which isn’t always easy.

  3. Waylon, I thank you for this part of your ministry. I look forward to reading this e-mail every day, but most of all when I am offshore. Satan thrives when I allow the pace of work and the culture offshore to get in the way of allowing the Spirit within me to control my thoughts and actions. Your Blog is there early in my morning activities and helps me get refocused if I have lost touch with the reality of my real purpose in this life. Thank you

  4. Thank you so much for your blog each day. I start my mornings off praying, reading Gods word and reading your blog. Your words are a Blessing to me. God Bless you.

  5. Waylon, we were introduced through Martha’s women’s bible study. You are both a blessing! I read this blog when I get to the office each morning. (Not Wednesdays because I am in Covington for bible study.) My husband and I both do and we love to share it with our 6 employees. Recently, my husband passed out your blog about 3 and 5 tips for a good marriage. One of our employees responded with “you know my husband and I have been talking about how we can improve our marriage and this is perfect timing”. We just smiled. We softly remind them that God’s timing is perfect and relevant for today! Thanks for giving us this tool to share.
