My Most Popular Post For 2011

My blog is now six months old. It has been a fun ride. I’ve enjoyed writing about subjects that I am passionate about and interacting with my readers. It’s really fun to get to correspond with people all over the world.

I want to thank you for reading and for recommending my blog to your friends.

My most read post for the last six months was written in December. This could be the most read post because the blog is new and has been recently discovered by a lot of folks and therefore they didn’t have a chance to read earlier posts.

It could also be the fact that Tim Tebow has captured the imagination of the American public and particularly the people for which my blog was designed. With the Denver Broncos making the playoffs, I expect even more interest.

The post had another element that meant that it would be read. It is somewhat controversial with me questioning whether Tim Tebow should tone down the comments about his faith. The post was written in response to Kurt Warner’s views about Tebow’s public display of faith. Warner is an avowed believer and all around good guy. I had the opportunity to meet him last January.

  1. Great post! You can defnitely see that people do misunderstand Tim’s comments by their mockery of him. A family member of mine pointed out Matthew 24:9 to me. It talks about those who confess Christ will be persecuted. The media and fellow athletes see Tim and may be baffled because they themselves might not know Christ and know what it means to spread the Gospel. It’s hard not to love what Tebow is doing in his platform. His book is also a great read!

  2. I think people see Tim Teebow and realize what it is they should be doing yet are afraid to face who they are. People have a hard time admitting they aren’t perfect.
Maybe if they new Ecclasiastes 7:20 “There is not a righteous man on earth who does what is right and never sins” they would feel comfortable turning to Christ for forgiveness instead of being jealous towards Tim Tebow.
