My New Sermon Series

Beginning this weekend, I will be preaching a new sermon series entitled “Overcoming: Living Christ’s Victory.”

This is the premise: we have no reason to live defeated lives; we have every reason to live victorious lives. Christ died to make us new people. We are His new creation; all things have become new. We have been crucified with Christ. The old person is dead; the new person is alive.

If all of this is true, why do we live defeated? Why do we act as if Christ’s death was not sufficient to bring change to our lives?

Are you under the power of Satan in your life? Does some addiction control you? Do you have hurts, habits, and hangups which keep you from experiencing the victorious Christian life?

If so, this sermon series is for you. We will learn how to win the victory over sin.

Our themes will involve the power of Christ and His victory over sin, the nature of temptation, what Satan is trying to do to you, and how we experience the victory.

October 20-21, 2012 God is Bigger Than Your Problems, Mark 5:1-20

  1. 1 Timothy 4: 8-10
For the training of the body has a limited benefit, but godliness is beneficial in every way, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come. This saying is trustworthy and deserves full acceptance. In fact, we labor and strive for this, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of everyone, especially of those who believe.

As we pray for our young people, let us put feet to our prayers in support of them leading by example Loving as is our Charge; asking, seeking, knocking in the quest of each one to find and fill the Call into the Body of the Bride purposed for us from the Beginning, Beresheeth.

    Blessings!
