Have you considered entry points for your church? Every church needs them.
Entry points are those special parts of your church where people are attracted and where your people do their best to invite their friends.
You simply must have entry points.
I see three main ideas concerning entry points.
First, find those areas which fit you, your community, and the gifts God has given you. Not all churches should be exactly the same, and every church should not have the same ministries. Find the ministries that fit you. For example, my church has a very special ministry called Hands In Hand. It is a ministry for special needs children and their families.
We began this ministry because of who we are and the gifts given to our church. Because of a staff member with a special needs child, we became aware of the need. Then, God started supplying people to do the work of ministry. We learned that FBC has numbers of people who work with special needs children. They let us know they wanted to use their gifts for their church as well as for their career. This opened the door to many families in our community who otherwise could not attend church. Most churches simply aren’t equipped to take care of special needs families. We learned that special needs ministry fit us, our community, and the gifts of our people. That is the kind of entry point you want to establish.
Second, look for every opportunity to start new entry points. Your new entry points will open the door to reaching more people for Christ. When you establish a needed ministry done well, your people will naturally invite their friends. Your entry point then becomes a natural opportunity for evangelism.
Third, do whatever you do the best you can. It’s much better to do one thing well than many things poorly. You don’t have to have anything the biggest and best, but you do need to give your best for God and for His work.

Apt instructions. Churches are not to be in competition with one another any more than individuals who are looking for their place in the puzzle; which is the Bride of Christ. Romans 12: 4-6.
What a beautiful and befitting description of Seeking the Lord where He may be found.
Of course there are issues which all members of the Body should realize and be vigilant in protecting/knowing the Body’s Members. Sadly most “churches” neglect entirely or only concentrate on the harmony of maintaining funds for self preservation & social gratification. It is a wonderful thing to see the Gift and the Giver: Glorify our Lord. Social gratification takes a back seat; and yet, what is more gratifying than God’s Glory? His Light outshines the glitz and glitter of any fleshly gratification. AMEN. Thank you!
