My Appreciation For You

As we close this week surrounding Thanksgiving Day in the United States, I want to thank you for participating in this blog. Sometimes, people will ask, “Who do you write for?” My answer is “whoever reads.”

I want to thank you for reading, commenting, and passing the blog along to others. I appreciate your interest and your encouragement.

Thanks for sharing postings that you find interesting to others. Over the last year and a half, many new people outside my normal sphere of influence have become faithful readers. I have enjoyed “meeting” people in all fifty states and the District of Columbia as well as readers from fifty or more countries around the world. I have especially enjoyed running into people in my state and along the gulf coast of the United States who are readers.

Thanks to all of you.

Most of you will attend church today (after all, this blog is about pastoral leadership and Christian living). May God bless you as you worship Him. To those who are pastors and leaders of churches, I pray God will put people around you to encourage you just as you encourage me. Serving as pastor or pastoral staff is a difficult job. May God strengthen you as you serve Him.

May God use us all to make Him known to the ends of the earth.

Have a great day–waylon

  1. I am thankful for you and your leadership in FBC Covington. I enjoy reading your blog each morning as part of my morning devotional time. May God continue to bless you as you minister to so many.

  2. I used a recent blog titled “The Victory Is Possible” at Celebrate Recovery and handed out copies to the men in my group. They loved it so much. There was a good lively discussion over it also. I am going to use some more in the near future. Thanks Pastor Bailey.

  3. So much of what you write brings my family to inspiration in opening our hearts and minds to The Lord!! Sometimes we use your words for personal prayer and sometimes we use our own:) Your guidance and dedication has motivated us to learn to know our creator in a very powerful way!!! Thanks for all you do and say and thanks be to our wonderful God for sending us to you and a church we feel blessed to call home!!
