The Future Of WaylonBailey.com

The month of May marks the second birthday of waylonbailey.com. I had no idea where this would take me two years ago.

We simply started by responding to the prompting of the Holy Spirit. I deeply sensed this is where God wanted me to move in the future. After several months of prayer, God opened the door for me to comment on the death of Osama Bin Laden. You can click here to see my viewpoint of that momentous event.

Soon I was hooked. I moved quickly from a couple of blogs a week to three times weekly and then to an everyday blog directed to pastors and those who wish to grow in their faith in God.

The two areas I blog about are Pastoral Leadership and Christian Living. If you would like to see my passion and purpose, please click on “About Waylon” at the top of the page.

That’s the past. What about the future?

We have exciting news about the future (at least to me). After starting with a few close friends and family members reading the first few blogs, now 4000 different people are visiting and reading each month. In the last year 27000 different people have visited the site. I appreciate getting to interact with so many people across the country and around the world.

In the near future, we hope to have our very own App to help facilitate your use of the site. We hope to have a place to view sermons (mine and others), read blogs, and generally facilitate your daily walk with God. I hope you will come back often as we develop the site and plan for the future.

To make all of this work, we have developed a 501(c)(3) non-profit ministry called LifeApp Ministries. We plan to do as much with this ministry as God leads and provides. If you feel led to donate, you can help us develop LifeApp ministries.

You know something of the cost of technology and the need to constantly upgrade. Thank you for helping us to provide the best technology and to develop the ministry.

We are excited about our future. Thank you for being a part in the beginning of this ministry.

As always, we appreciate your helping us spread this blog. As you feel comfortable, please share this posting with your friends and encourage them to subscribe to waylonbailey.com.

  1. 😉 Jefferson Parish Museum is a Non Profit Corporation. There has never been a fee to see what God’s people have done. Its future depends on what They, God’s People, will do.
    Blessings

  2. Exciting news, Waylon! I certainly appreciate your daily blog and look forward to all that God will do to expand the ministry in the days ahead.

  3. Not unlike FBC of Covington, you had nowhere to go but up!!! Glad to see that God continues to bless your ministry. Now let’s get to work on a ‘Donate” button!!

  4. I really enjoy your reading your blog everyday. It reminds me in the morning, take the time to ask God to walk through the day with me. However you expand your blog I will follow.

  5. This is good news! Your blog is read daily, discussed and shared regularly. Looking forward to the new inclusions.
Many blogs ago you stated your understanding that for some, “this is the only way you can minister to them”. Your understanding is very much appreciated. We pray for God’s continued blessings on this ministry.

  6. Wouldn’t think of starting my morning without my WaylonBailey.com blog reading moment :). Exciting new doors of opportunity and creativity opening up. If you REALLY want to take it over the moon, give Martha her own page to teach, share and encourage from. Now THERE’S another treasure!!! Love you both, and I love how you just keep stretching us all, no matter what the area of living out our faith is.

    1. Thanks to all of you for your kind words and encouragement. Whitney, we are actually working on Martha’s own blog right now. She should be posting before the end of June at the Marthabailey.com domain. Also, she will do a guest post for me on Father’s Day. It will be a touching addition to the day.
