Worship With A Purpose

Last weekend we began a new sermon series from the Prophecy of Malachi. In four short chapters, Malachi looked at worship from almost every angle. He spoke about those who worship and the attitude they brought with them to the time and place of worship. He had strong words for those who lead others in worship.

I believe God can use this sermon series to help us take a new look at our attitudes toward Him and toward others.

Would you join with me at looking at God and looking at yourself as we study through the Prophecy of Malachi? The sermons will come from a series of questions.

October 5-6, 2013, “Do You Respect God?” Malachi 1:6-14.

October 12-13, 2013, “Are You Honest With God?” Malachi 2:1-9

October 19-20, 2013, “Are Your Relationships in Order?” Malachi 2:10-16

October 26-27, 2013, “Are You Ready to Stand Before God?” Malachi 2:17-3:5

November 2-3, 2013, “Are You Robbing God?” Malachi 3:6-18

November 9-10, 2013, “Do You Know God?” Malachi 4:1-6

Our worship can be much more meaningful when we see it from God’s point of view. May He touch our hearts as we open them to His instruction.
