Making The Most Of Every Day

“I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once”–Jennifer Yane.

“I have historically made most of my bad decisions out of desperation. In other words, when I am in a place of desperation I seem to make the worst possible decisions with my life whether it’s a job opportunity, a project, a relationship(s), and even a startup venture. I’m not sure about you but I definitely know this about myself and it can be so frustrating because it is when we are the most desperate is when we feel like we should be making decisions, not waiting, patiently, for better opportunities or for more clarity”–John Saddlington.

“God’s Word insists that we can’t merely know and teach truth; we must embody it. We have to apply it to our lives. We must submit ourselves to the authority of Scripture and the claims of the gospel not merely intellectually but also in our thought, in our careers, in our relationships. Truth that is divorced from personal practice is hypocrisy, and living truth becomes a living lie when we fail to obey it ourselves”–Joshua Harris, Humble Orthodoxy.

“People who share what’s on their mind should be careful what’s on their mind”–Dan Rockwell.

“Several excuses are always less convincing than one”–Aldous Huxley.

  1. It is hard to breath when someone is standing on your chest. When they have help also standing with them, it is harder.

Many Members of One Body may not be dwelling together; God’s Kingdom is a big place.
