  1. Great Quotes!!!

Each week I get a paper from the Arkansas Weekly. My brother-in-law by marriage has a Dad whom has been a contributing columnist for many, many years. He is also a life long Democrat, Mason, and Southern Baptist as well as a surviving independent Business man from a family business and Navy Veteran of WW2. This is the paper’s website: http://www.arkansasweekly.com/ If you go to it you may see the front page which is like the front page of every Christmas Week. It features the reprint of the Editorial Page of the New York Sun, 1897, and an article entitled: One Solitary Life. Next to the article is the Thought of the Week, this 2013 year: “There is no revenge so complete as forgiveness.” Josh Billings.

I enjoy getting the paper because it is full of reminders, such as found in your quotes, as well a practical applications, as I have shared with you.

Yesterday I heard Angela Hill, whom I met many years ago, interview Mrs. Benson. If you or your readers get time you may find listening to the interview informative on many levels, not the least is Scriptural application. Interesting how God brings people together for His Purpose. My cousin cut the previous Mrs. Benson’s hair and prepared her for her funeral. I found no conflict in the ‘character’ represented by her remarks over the many years of that relationship.

Do you remember the Star Trek movie the “Undiscovered Country?” I am reminded in a sense of how it is to discover in this world: Members of His Body, Church, finding the Undiscovered Country and what can Be gained (that can’t be lost) from “I AM.”

    Blessings
