The Tragedy of People Without God

[Those without God] are “Christless, stateless, friendless, hopeless, and Godless”–William Hendriksen.

“. . . remember that you were at that time separated from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near in the blood of Christ. For he is our peace. . .”–Ephesians 2: 12-14.

Our problems are largely spiritual, not political. If we transform the spiritual, then the political will follow. Light always overcomes darkness. We have a lot of people hiding their light!”–Governor Mike Huckabee.

“Their minds are in the dark, and they are stubborn and ignorant and have missed out on the life that comes from God. They no longer have any feelings about what is right”–Ephesians 4:18.

“[In the fall] Our reason (understanding, ability to think, good judgment, common sense) was darkened, our desires were entangled, our wills were perverted by sin”–John Kincaid.

“God did not send his Son into the world to condemn its people. He sent him to save them! No one who has faith in God’s Son will be condemned. But everyone who doesn’t have faith in him has already been condemned for not having faith in God’s only Son”–John 3:17-18.

  1. The quote from Governor Huckabee is so accurate. All the turmoil seen daily in and around government and ordinary daily life is tragic. Self interest is abounding with much dis-interest in doing what is good for the whole of mankind. What a difference it would make to follow Jesus Christ and Gods instruction.
