The resurrection is the heart of our faith. Without it, as Paul declared, we are still in our sins. If Christ has not been raised, we are of all people most miserable. Without Christ being raised, our faith is in vain.

The good news is that Christ has been raised.

“The angel said to the women. ‘Don’t be afraid! I know you are looking for Jesus, who was nailed to a cross. He isn’t here! God has raised him to life, just as Jesus said he would. Come, see the place where his body was lying’ “(Matthew 28:5-6).

We are called to tell His story. He is alive, and He makes all the difference in our lives. We died with Him, and we have been raised with Him. Because of this, our old person has died and the new person is alive. In Him, we have our hope.

May God bless you today as you worship and tell His story. Don’t give up. Don’t quit. Don’t lose hope. He is risen.

“My dear friends, stand firm and don’t be shaken. Always keep busy working for the Lord. You know that everything you do for him is worthwhile” (1 Corinthians 15:58).
