God uses His churches to work and minister in different ways in their communities.
One way he has called and led FBC Covington to serve is through Vacation Bible School. God has richly blessed this ministry of FBC.
Each year 1000 children or so attend our VBS.
This year the theme is “Submerged”. VBS will be held June 6–10 this year.
Here are some areas where we need your help and involvement.
First, pray fervently for God’s leadership, anointing, and direction for our school. Pray that children (and their parents) may hear the truth of the gospel and be led to know and serve God.
Second, register your children for VBS beginning now. Go to the church website (FBCCOV.org) to do this. Your registration now helps with planning and makes the first day of school better organized.
Third, volunteer to serve as soon as possible. VBS requires a large number of volunteers. We need time to train and prepare for this ministry.
Fourth, encourage your family and friends to include their children in our VBS.
One on the ways God uses our church is through faithful Bible teaching. We want to take the Word of God to our community. Please help us be faithful in doing so.
God will bless our prayer, devotion, and hard work.

It’s hard to believe that June is right around the corner again! VBS is a very exciting time in our church and we will conduct our VBS the week of June 12. We had training last Sunday afternoon for our people. We enjoyed conducting the VBS at FBC Hammond with your folks last summer. We gained some great insight and new ideas from your leaders and were grateful for the opportunity to partner with y’all. I’ll be praying for your VBS the week of June 6 and ask for your prayers the week of June 12. God bless and keep up the great work.
