What the Church is Established to Do

“The church has nothing to do but to save souls. Therefore, spend and be spent in this work”–John Wesley.

“It is significant that Jesus attracted sinners while the Pharisees repelled them. (What does this say about some of our churches today?). Lost sinners came to Jesus, not because He catered to them or compromised His Message, but because He cared for them. He understood their needs and tried to help them, while the Pharisees  criticized them and kept their distance”–Warren Wiersbe.

“Now the tax collectors and sinners were all gathering around to hear Jesus. But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law muttered, ‘This man welcomes sinners and eats with them’ “–Luke 15:1-2.

“Then he said to them, ‘Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem’ “–Luke 24:46-47.

“Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us”–1 Peter 2:12.

We must reach all . . . generations. Every person counts to God, but it is imperative we particularly learn how to reach the Millennials and those being born since 2000). My grandchildren have all been born since 2001. This may seem like a daunting task. But please remember the Great Commission ends with Jesus saying: “And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age”–Waylon Bailey.

And this is why I go to that mission field called BacoBar everyday (work) because those kids (co-workers) need to know that I love them because He loves me! Bloom where you are planted and love expecting nothing in return and, always practice those 3 C’s!!!
    Love God Completely
    Love yourself Correctly
    Love others Compassionately

Some are so hard to love but it isn’t their fault, they have believed a pack of lies that has been whispered in their ears by the father of lies!!! Just waking folks up that’s all. 🙂

I just wrote about The Church this morning on my blog! I love when God confirms I am listening to Him in my writing. I could not agree with you more on reaching everyone for God. Blessings Dr. Bailey!
