Human Wisdom and the Wisdom of God

“There are 3 truths we must believe about God before we can trustHim: He is completely in control, His wisdom is infinite, His love is perfect”–John Kincaid.

“Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love”–1 John 4:18, NLT.

“This is what the Lord says: ‘Let not the wise boast of their wisdom or the strong boast of their strength or the rich boast of their riches, but let the one who boasts boast about this: that they have the understanding to know me, that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight,’ declares the Lord”–Jeremiah 9:23-24.

“But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere”–James 3:17.

“He that trusts in his own heart is a fool; but whoever walks wisely, he shall be delivered”–Proverbs 28:26.
