You have obviously seen the fast pace of our new construction.

The contractors tell us that they are on time and are hopeful to have the educational portion of the building ready next summer. The commons area and the new worship center will be ready early in 2018.

It’s exciting to see everything that’s taking place.

We now are ready to come to the zenith of the FORWARD! Capital Campaign.

For the last few weeks our leaders have been meeting to view the project and to push forward. They are making their commitments early and the total number of commitments and the amount will be announced in our worship services this weekend.

You will also receive a commitment card that you can return next weekend or by mailing to the church office or by submitting in the offering plate at a later date.

Let me remind you how this works. Your participation in the capital campaign will give you a feeling of ownership of the building. We very much want you to participate as an owner. Also, the capital Campaign works by the volume of people. The more people who participate the better the campaign will work.

Would you please consider making a commitment for the campaign? This is for a three year campaign beginning January 1, 2017 and concluding December 31, 2018. It would be forgiving above your normal offerings.

Martha and I pledge two things to you: (1) We pledge to pray and seek God for what we should give. (2) We pledge to do our financial best for the campaign.

We would not think of asking you to do anything that we don’t do.

We are thankful this campaign will get more people involved. We also expect it will take financial pressure off the completion of the new building. We hope to use the funds to finish this portion of the project.
