Why Faith Matters

“Nothing worth proving can be proven”–Alfred Lord Tennyson.

“We walk by faith, not by sight”–2 Corinthians 5:7.

“While we live in the present, it is hard to envision eternity. But one day soon, eternity will be all there is and we will be forever grateful that we chose faith”–Jim Denison.

“Without faith, it is impossible to please [God]”–Hebrews 4:6.

“Somewhere, some when, some how, we who are worshipping God here will wake up to Him as He is face to face”–John Baillie.

“Therefore, we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not of what is seen but what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. Now we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands”–2 Corinthians 4:16-5:1.

“Jesus Christ is coming back to earth through a real sky on a real day to take real people to a real Paradise. Wouldn’t you really like to be here to see that? Just as surely as you believe He lay in a manger, He’s going to peel back the sky and call us home”–unknown.
