What Are You Doing Today?

“If Jesus returns tomorrow, then tomorrow I’ll rest from my labor. But today I have work to do”–Dietrich Bonhoeffer.

“The worst in Mother Nature often brings out the best in human nature”–Florida Television Commentator.

“My theology is that if I can see God moving through people, neighbors helping neighbors, I can shelve the bigger question of why this is happening. That there are still people caring for each other is evidence enough that God is in this world”–Michael Vowell.

“It is clear in the Bible that we, as believers, are challenged to live our lives without grumbling or complaining.  Rather, we are to love one another deeply and seek to see life from their perspective.  If we grumble and complain it shows how worldly we still are (James 4:1-3).  It will lead to a fighting and quarrelsome spirit”–Bruce Chesser.

Be hospitable to one another without complaining”–1 Peter 4:9.

“Do everything without grumbling and arguing so that you may be blameless and pure, children of God who are faultless in a crooked and perverted generation, among whom you shine like stars in the world”–Philippians 2:14-15.

” ‘I’ll be praying for you’ has a powerful place in the vocabulary of the believer, but it doesn’t exempt us from getting our hands dirty, from doing without, from going out of our way to meet the immediate needs of those who are hot, hungry, tired, and discouraged”–The Gift New Testament.

“Therefore, we may boldly say: ‘The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?’ “–Hebrews 13:6.

“Jesus is the leader. I am the follower. My goal today is to follow His schedule, accomplish His agenda, and love whoever He sends my way”–John Kramp.

  1. Dear Pastor Bailey,

You have studied and given sermons for many years and have much knowledge and insight with regard to the Word of God. Please share with us your opinion and knowledge of the Revelation 12 sign and what it means. There are so many signs indicating that these are the last days. Sincerely, Deborah King
