The Necessity of Unity

“We all owe our lives to the Lord Jesus Christ. We worship the same Lord and receive guidance, wisdom, and power from the same Spirit. We have the same goal of helping other people know Christ. We are quite unified. In short, our unity comes from who God is instead of who we are or where we came from. It’s all about Him and what He wants”–Waylon Bailey.

“Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called: one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all”–Ephesians 4:3-6.

“Remain in Me, and I in you. Just as a branch is unable to produce fruit by itself unless it remains on the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in Me. I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in Me and I in him produces much fruit, because you can do nothing without Me”–John 15:4-5.

“Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much”–Helen Keller.

“Individual commitment to a group effort–that is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work”–Vince Lombardi.

“Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships”–Michael Jordan.

“None of us is as smart as all of us”–Ken Blanchard.
