Opportunities and Blessings

Today, I want to write about two things.

First, I want to remind you of the opportunities we have to worship God and to fellowship with one another during this Christmas time.

Next weekend will be our Christmas musical, O Come Let Us Adore. O Come Let Us Adore is a joint effort of our children, youth, and adult choirs to exalt Christ and to lead us to worship together.

This musical will be performed three times: Friday, December 14, at 7:00 PM, and Saturday, December 16, at 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM.

Please encourage your friends and family to join us as we celebrate the birth of Christ.

We also will have our very special Christmas Eve services at 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM. These will be the first Christmas Eve services in our new worship center. For the first time in a long time, we should have plenty of room for you to bring your entire family and worship with us. Both services will include the celebration of the Lord’s Supper.

Second, I want to tell you of blessings. As of this week, we are in our new office building. This is a wonderful building that allows us to have adequate space and to put our pastors and staff in one place, a real blessing.

But, it’s not just the building that’s a blessing. We were blessed this week with a large group of volunteers who took a week-long job and cut it down to Monday and Tuesday. We were blessed by these volunteers who gave such effort to get us moved. By the end of the day Monday, we were already set up and functioning with phones and computers.

We simply can’t thank these volunteers enough for what they did.

You blessed us! Thank you for making this move go so smoothly.
