Don’t Let Easter Slip Up on You

Before we know it, Easter will be upon us. I hope you will experience the significance of this wonderful day – – a day when we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord.

Let me remind you that we have some great opportunities to worship with the church family as we prepare for Easter.

Next week, as we continue our “Journey to Golgotha,” we will begin looking at the trial and crucifixion of Jesus. Mark 14-15 contain the basic story of what Jesus went through as He became the sacrifice for our sin.

I particularly hope you will plan to be present for our Maundy Thursday worship experience on the Thursday before Easter. Maundy Thursday will center around the Lord’s Supper, just as Jesus ate the supper with His disciples on that Thursday.

Maundy Thursday will get us ready for Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday. It will be a time of worship and reflection, a time for us to prepare our hearts for this significant weekend that is upon us.

Please invite your friends for our Easter weekend services at the normal worship times. Because of our new building, we have room for you, your family, and your friends to worship with you.

Even unchurched people understand that Easter is a special time of worship. Please encourage others to attend with you for this special time.
